Shrihari Khurd

Mr. Khurd served as a Class-1 officer in the Government of Maharashtra for over 23 years, holding several key positions. Prior to his tenure in the government, he was a lecturer in Physics at various Science and Engineering colleges, where he first discovered his passion for career counseling and also guided some young minds for over 3.5 years. Since 2022, he has completely dedicated himself to guiding students and professionals toward the right career paths. He is the founder of Shree Career Counselling Academy, which is located in his hometown Shirala, Sangli. The academy derives its values from the concept of Ikigai and aims to guide students towards their golden career; an intersection of something they like, something they are good at, something the world needs, and something which will give them financial stability in the current competitive world.

Recognizing the substantial change in the job-market over the past two decades, and to ensure that his guidance is relevant, he has recently completed training for Career Counselling with Edumilestones and has been guiding young minds towards their optimal career for the past 1.5 years.

“Based on personal experiences, I strongly believe that at any stage of our life we sometimes require an unbiased opinion about the right career choice to make; be it what field to choose, what job opportunity is the best, whether switching jobs is better, etc. Someone who gives an answer purely rationally. I felt the lack of such a person during my lifetime, and so I want to be that support for other people. Throughout my experience in teaching and government service, I have guided youngsters via counseling and prepared them to undertake competitive examinations. Through these experiences, I found my passion for career counseling, which is now taking the form of Shree Career Counseling Academy- Shrihari Khurd”
